Harris County ESD 13 / Cypress Creek Fire Department are proud to offer a few inspection programs to the public.  These programs are provided at no cost to the public but are by appointment only.

Fire/Life Safety Program

Outreach Specialist Tom Petty and his K-9, Cinder, provide free education programs to young children, teens, and senior groups within Cypress Creek Fire Department territory.
Cinder is a purebred, male, yellow Labrador Retriever who interacts wonderfully with all audiences, including children. He has three American Kennel Club (AKC) certifications which ensure handler-control in various public settings.

Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection

Our Child Passenger Safety Technicians are located at Station 22 on Cypress N. Houston Rd. and are ready to help you ensure your child's safety by providing free Child Passenger Safety inspections. Certified technicians will work with you to address any existing installation issues or questions that you may have regarding child safety seats. During the inspection, technicians will provide a hands-on demonstration so that you will be able to safely install your car seats every time. Schedule a free appointment today, our techs are available Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.

Home Safety Consultations

CCFD offers free Home Safety Consultations to all residents in our territory. This includes a walk-through and assessment of your home. Our Firefighters will identify any potential fire hazards and give you a copy of their report so that you can correct these hazards before they become a serious problem. CCFD will provide and install smoke detectors, as necessary, completely free of charge. Call today to verify your address and schedule a free consultation.
